Sword of Hearts

Matt Harding holds a BFA in Acting from Wright State University, an Advanced Certificate in Voice Studies from the Central School of Speech and Drama and an MA in Theatre with an emphasis in Voice and Speech from Northwestern University. He is currently the Visiting Lecuturer in Voice and Speech at Indiana University in Bloomington where he is responsible for teaching undergraduates and graduate students and coaching all departmental productions. Currently he is working on MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, DEATH OF A SALESMAN, SCAPINO! and PARADE.

Matt became a member of SAG and AFTRA shortly after completing Sword of Hearts. He is also a member of the Society of American Fight Directors and the Voice and Speech Trainer's Association. Matt is also the sole proprietor of Vocal Enhancement Instruction where he coaches both privately and for theatre companies. Most recently he was the Voice Speech and Dialect Coach for Court Theatre's 2000 - 2001 season and for Lookinglass's Jeff winning production of HARD TIMES.

Matt has appeared as various thugs in henchman in Chicago Theatre, when he's not teaching and choreographing, and as a the Murderous Peter Drake in KILL THE NEW HAVILAND LADDER. He was also seen as the scurrilous Bob Ewell in Northwestern's production of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD.
