Travis Estes is a classically trained actor who received his Bachelor's degree in The Social World of Elizabethan Theatre from Southwest Missouri State University where he also started fencing and stage combat. Moving to New York City he studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He spent a few years in St. Louis performing with the St. Louis Shakespeare Company and the Orthwein Theatre among others. Relocating to Chicago, he is an active member in Frump Tucker Theatre Company, as well as the Chicago theatre and film community. His first foray into action features, Placebo Effect(www.lsfilms.com/PlaceboEffect), has gone on to win numerous awards, including Best Picture, Best Screenplay and Best Cinematography at the New York Int'l Inde.
