Sword of Hearts

Zach Thomas is a founding company member of the Baum House Theatre Company in Chicago. His previous credits include the villain in Damn Spies: Eps 1,2 &3; an assorted array of characters in Bustin' Out, leader of the pirate thieves in Thieves and detective Jimmy Deering in Kill the Haviland Ladder: Eps 1-5. He was also seen in Stone Soup Theatre's production of Pick Up Axe in 1999. Zach got his start acting at an early age doing theatre in his hometown of Charleston S.C. He worked with the local professional company, Chopstick Theatre, and developed a touring children's show called Blunder at the Big Top. During that time with Chopstick, Zach also appreaed in A Streetcar Named Desire, The Lion in Winter, The Marriage of Figaro (play version) and Romeo and Juliet. From there he went on to study at the S.C. Governor's Schol for the Arts and Wright State University where he was on the dean's list three years in a row. Collage Credits include Noises off, Oklahoma, Chess, Hamlet, Company, Born Yesterday, and The Secret Garden. During his busy collage schedual, he also managed to work professionally with The Human Race Theatre Company in their annual production of A Christmas Carol where he portrayed young Ebenezer to John Wylie's Scrooge. Zach has also had the opportunity to teach gifted young actors at the Northwestern University High School Institute "Cherub" summer program. Sword of Hearts makes Zach's fourth film. He was also in the short film Sam and Ella, the Sci-Fi suspence thriller Condition and On Becoming Blonde directed by Melinda Roenisch.
